From my understanding the guy who was doing the calls did this several times to various fast food restaurants all over the country before eventually getting caught. The Taco Bell one I mentioned just happened to be the first one I heard about some years before this movie came out. The manager was a woman but when she needed to get back to work, she had her fiance (middle age man) come over and watch the girl (17 or 18). The girl was forced to masturbate in front of him. This really did happen. It was at a Taco Bell and the manager was a male. Hard to believe how stupid the girl (as well as the manager) were to go along with it. No cop is going to make a civilian do something like that over the phone.
